QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you get started.

Free tools, Founder support, permissions and your first setup.

Is Vaeros free?

Core moderation, ticket and community tools are available in the free Community plan. Your dashboard shows the features enabled for your server. Founder is optional support for the project; check the plan page for its configured extras.

What does Founder support?

Founder helps support Vaeros’s continued development and hosting. The plan page shows current prices, billing periods, assignments and configured benefits. It is not required to start using the core bot.

Who can manage a server?

Use the Discord account with Manage Server or Administrator permission for that server. Vaeros also checks the permissions needed for individual actions; server ownership does not grant access to the global Vaeros AdminCP.

Why is my server missing from the dashboard?

Check that you are signed in with the correct Discord account and have permission to manage the server. Vaeros separates installed servers from servers where the bot can be added. Refresh after updating Discord permissions.

Why can’t I see a slash command?

Check that Vaeros was invited with application command access, that the command is enabled in your dashboard, and that Discord’s channel and integration permissions allow your account to use it. Use /help to find available commands.

Which bot permissions are required?

The command directory lists action-specific requirements. Moderation actions also depend on role order: Vaeros’s highest role must be above the member it needs to moderate. Grant only the permissions required for your enabled tools.

Can I start without setting up tickets?

Yes. After signing in and choosing your server, start with moderation, tickets or community tools. You can configure the other modules later.

How do I remove Vaeros?

A server administrator can remove the bot from Discord. Removing it stops that server’s bot activity; it does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Manage billing separately and contact support for data-retention or deletion questions.

How does the optional global ban list work?

You choose whether your server uses the list. Notification mode sends alerts without banning. Enforcement mode applies server bans to listed accounts and bans them if they join later, subject to Vaeros’s permissions and role hierarchy.

Vaeros’s owner decides whether to issue a global ban. Requests are reviewed manually. Requests must include a reason and at least one HTTPS evidence link; submitting a request does not ban anyone automatically. There is no automatic ban based on the number of reports.

If you think a decision is wrong, contact Vaeros support with its reference and any evidence for review. Opting out or removing an entry does not automatically lift an existing server ban.

Where can I find my invoices?

Open My subscriptions to view your invoices. Invoice emails also link to a private invoice page. A paid invoice page provides a PDF download.

Where can I get help?

For help with your community, use that server’s support channels. For help with Vaeros, use our website support form or community Discord. Website requests keep your replies and case history together.
