Both roles are voluntary and unpaid, with flexible hours. Here’s what you’d help with and what you’ll need.
Customer Support
Help people with questions about Vaeros, its dashboard and getting started on their Discord server.
What you’ll need
You’ll need basic Discord knowledge, patience and clear written replies. Experience with bots or support is helpful, but you can learn Vaeros and the dashboard during onboarding. Pass complex problems on to us.
Commitment
Volunteer, unpaid · no fixed shifts or minimum hours
Requirements
Age 16+ · clear written English · no prior team experience required
Introduce Vaeros to Discord communities and help people understand what the bot offers.
What you’ll need
You should enjoy talking with Discord communities and be able to explain Vaeros honestly and clearly. Marketing experience is welcome, but isn’t required. Follow each community’s advertising rules and agree larger campaigns or partnerships with us first.
Commitment
Volunteer, unpaid · no fixed shifts or minimum hours
Requirements
Age 16+ · clear written English · no prior team experience required
These are voluntary, unpaid roles. Yoshua develops and looks after Vaeros and currently has no budget for paid team members.
There are no fixed shifts or minimum hours. Tell us when and how regularly you can help. We value reliability and a quick message if you’ll be away for a while.
You must be at least 16 and able to write clearly in English with users and the team. Other languages are welcome. Be friendly, responsible and willing to learn; previous team experience isn’t required.
Working together
We use Discord to discuss tasks, answer questions and share ideas. You can bring suggestions from your first day; we’ll talk through what would help Vaeros and its communities.
A gradual start
Our planned onboarding starts with the Vaeros features that matter for your role. We’ll explain the tasks, answer questions and start with manageable jobs, with more independence as you gain experience.
Room to help, with support
Customer Support starts with questions about the bot, dashboard and setup; complex issues come back to us. Promotion & Outreach introduces Vaeros to suitable communities and answers interested users’ questions. We agree larger campaigns and partnerships together beforehand.
Your application
A display name is fine. Tell us which role interests you, what you’ve tried before and when you can help. It’s okay if this would be your first team role.
Choose a role and share your experience, motivation and availability. You’ll get a reference and a link to your private application.
02
We read it and get to know you
We can ask follow-up questions in your application. If it looks like a good fit, our planned next step is a conversation on Discord about the role, your availability and suitable tasks.
03
Start with manageable tasks
Our planned introduction is gradual: learn the relevant tools, ask questions and take on more responsibility as you feel ready. The work stays voluntary and flexible.
